The women of IFAMM (International Free and Accepted Modern Masons) and the Order of the Eastern Stars stopped by this morning to drop off their donations for our “necessities” campaign!
“We heard on the news that the schools needed feminine hygiene products, and our Grand Matron heard MLGW was collecting on behalf of the schools, so here we are,” said Joanne Fowler, the group’s District Major.
We couldn’t have been more thrilled to meet these women this morning and accept the donations on their behalf!

Jovan
Harris, who spearheaded the campaign with Vickie White on behalf of
MLGW's Council of Administrative Professionals added, "Sometimes in life
we take situations for granted. I never knew the lack of feminine
hygiene products had such an impact on our young women's attendance in
the Shelby County Schools. As a proud resident of Shelby County I feel
obligated to help if there is a need in our community that is impacting
our youth. I am happy that we are able to assist in making sure our
young women have the necessities they need so they won’t have to miss
school."
Our
"necessities" campaign wraps up tomorrow, Friday, September 28th.
Donations are being accepted at all #MLGW Community Offices.
