It’s Award-Winning Season for MLGW

Congratulations are in order for LaShell Vaughn, Corporate Information Officer, who was chosen as one of Memphis Business Journal’s Women Who Lead, honoring technology professionals. Each woman chosen by MBJ’s editorial team had qualities that defined leadership — from pushing through IT challenges and moving individual and departmental technology goals forward in difficult times to career-altering decision-making.

Corporate Communications also shined at the E-Source and Telly Awards. E Source, the data authority for the utility industry, blends industry-leading research, predictive data science, and solution services to help utilities make better decisions to support their customers, their bottom line, and our planet. During the 2022 E Source Forum, the 14th annual Utility Ad Award Contest winners were announced and our "Gift of Comfort" campaign was selected as the winner of the self-service category. Vice President Gale Jones Carson accepted the award.

The MLGW Corporate Communications team also won two Telly Awards during their annual 43rd Telly Awards Contest. The Telly Awards annually showcase the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.
