Last night’s first-ever MLGW Phonathon for Plus-1 was a huge success, with more than $12,000 raised to help Plus-1. Several MLGW teams competed with teams from TVA and MIFA, with volunteers calling friends, family and fellow employees in an effort help the program.
Plus-1 has also received a big boost from our bill insert mailings in February, which included an envelope for Plus-1 sign-up and information about the program. From Feb. 1 to Feb. 29, 2012, we have received 998 Plus-1 return envelopes that were mailed with customers' utility bills, up from just 53 in January.
