MLGW Partners with the City of Memphis Invest in Youth Program

Want to make a difference in the lives of Memphis youth?

You have the power right at your fingertips. Help the City of Memphis and MLGW provide local teens and young adults with safe and engaging activities through the Office of Youth Services by participating in Invest in Memphis Youth. By adding a small contribution to your monthly MLGW bill, you can make a direct impact on youth who participate in programs, such as the Memphis Ambassadors Program or MPLOY Youth Summer Experience.

“As a community, we can help our young people grow to their full potential,” said James Nelson, Office of Youth Services director. “What we’re doing is empowering and preparing them to excel in life beyond high school through programs that teach them valuable skills and competencies.”

Every MLGW account holder can join this partnership including area organizations and businesses to make an even larger impact.

“We are so happy to partner with the City of Memphis for this initiative,” said MLGW President Jerry Collins Jr. “It’s important that we invest in our children now to build an even greater city for tomorrow.”

Look inside your May 2015 bill for an Invest in Memphis Youth registration card to begin your ongoing contributions or visit www.cityofmemphisyouth.org or www.mlgw.com/investinyouth
