Today there seems to be lots of good news. Naturally, I thought I'd share:
First, an editorial on Taking Action on Energy, which highlights several initiatives being considered by MLGW and TVA.
Second, sustainability wins one as The Shelby County Commission rejects the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cordova.
Third, Koeppel discusses local groups exposing urban kids to nature and announces Richard Louv's keynote address at GPAC tonight at 7pm to launch ArtsMemphis' Conservation through Art program.
Finally, a nice article discussing the Exhibition of Student Work project going on at all city schools that I mentioned last week. MCS needs thousands of people to judge the projects! Apply on online at mcsk12.net. Click on the "Exhibition of Student Work" banner at the bottom of the page and then return your application electronically or to Miska Bibbs, 2597 Avery, Room 208, Memphis, TN 38112. Training is provided.
