Abhinay Lingareddy, son of Sai Lingareddy, Customer Information Systems, was awarded the TVA Power Play Scholarship this year, as well as the Johnny Hayes Memorial Scholarship and Bobby Blanchett Memorial Scholarship.
A senior at White Station High School, Abhinay will be studying ethics, politics and economics at Yale University next year. He says, “I am grateful for the many vibrant communities I have had a pleasure to be a part of. I volunteered along with my mom at MLGW’s Memphis Weekend STEM Academy to help ignite a passion in the field of science in low-income elementary students.”
In his free time, Abhinay volunteers with the Refugee Empowerment Program and plays tennis. MLGW wishes the best of luck to this well-rounded young man.
