The first screening is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1 from 9 a.m. -3 p.m. at the Neighborhood Christian Center at 785 Jackson Ave. MLGW provides the air conditioning units, while NCC conducts the screening and selection process.
To apply, applicants will need the following credentials on hand:
- Tennessee State ID or Drivers License to verify age and address.
- The most recent pay stub or Social Security Income statement to verify income.
- If you have a physical disability but do not meet the age requirement you must bring the proper certification information.
NCC will set up a hotline recording for customers needing more information.

All of the air conditioning units require regular maintenance to Perform at their peak. The filters of all the air conditioners should be changed after few months. A regular dusting along with ac service is also required for the efficient working of an ac unit.
