UPDATE: The deadline to sign-up for the MLGW Jam For Plus-1 is April 7.Each weekend in May will feature musical performances by the Elvis Presley statue on the north side of MLGW's David F. Hansen Administration Building on Beale; the goal is to raise money for Plus-1.
The performance times will be from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday, May 4; noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 5; and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 6. For the rest of May, the performance times on Fridays and Saturdays will remain the same; however, for May 13, 20, and 27, the performance times will change to 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Performance slots are limited for the first weekend. Each musical act will have a 2-hour set.
MLGW is providing the stage, cover and electricity among other things; the performers will have to provide their own equipment, including spotlights if needed.
All genres of bands, singers and performers are encouraged to sign-up!

If so, MLGW is giving you the chance. During this year’s Memphis In May month-long celebration, MLGW will sponsor a space every weekend during Memphis in May for local artists to showcase their talents and help our neighbors in need.
By performing during Memphis In May, you’ll be helping raise money for MIFA’s Plus-1 program.
