The
Procurement, Contracts and Supplier Diversity family of MLGW is helping others
during this holiday season. They set up at Poplar Avenue and High Street to
distribute 130 hygiene kits to the homeless population in the downtown area
Friday morning.
Each employee made a personal financial contribution to provide
these kits which include a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, bath soap, wash
cloth, gloves, hand warmers, socks, hand sanitizer, shampoo, miniature first aid
kit, bottled water, cheese crackers and a card with words of encouragement.
They partnered with Moo and Oink Food Truck to serve fried chicken,
barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes and cole slaw so that recipients would also have a hot meal.
