teenagers checked in Tuesday morning for MLGW’s Powering Education seminar for
Girls’ Life Academy Memphis (GLAM). The day-long seminar taught the girls about
understanding your utility bill, career opportunities and how to save energy.
Paula S. Mitchell and Cameshia Kindred, both of the MLGW’s Credit Department, performed a skit on connecting utility services during Tuesday’s Powering Education seminar.
“This is preparing us for adulthood,” said Myracle Evans, 17, who attended Tuesday’s education seminar for Girls’ Life Academy Memphis (GLAM) at MLGW’s Administration Building.
