MLGW Davis Water Plant Experiences Temporary Shutdown Affecting Customers in Southwest Memphis

(May 2, 2017) – Memphis Light, Gas and Water experienced a well failure at its Davis Water Treatment Plant in Southwest Memphis today that might cause low pressure and cloudy water for residents in that area. Customers in the affected area are asked to limit their water usage for the next 24 hours while this issue is being resolved.

The area affected is between Stateline Road to the South, Tulane and Elvis Presley Blvd. to the East, Lamar and Crump to North Parkway and the Mississippi River to the West.
