Clean, Hike, & Eat!

Last week, Clean Memphis worked in a small area in Whitehaven off of Shelby Drive. Forty volunteers collected 104 bags of garbage and 84 tires!




If you would like to get in on the action, Clean Memphis is hosting a Wolf River Clean-up this Saturday in Frayser, and they need volunteers! Meet up with other volunteers at 8:45 at Arkwings Conference Center (2034 James Rd.) in Frayser. There will be a shuttle to the section of the Wolf that they will be working on. The guide is Keith Kirkland with Wolf River Conservancy. He will take the volunteers on a short hike after the clean up, and then back to Arkwings for a hot dog roast. Family is welcome.

Cleaning up, taking a hike, and eating hot dogs--sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday!
