Sisterhood Showcase a Success!

Over the weekend, about 25 MLGW employees volunteered their time at the Sisterhood Showcase. The MLGW booth focused on ways customers can "Tap into Savings." We had information on energy conservation, the energy-saving kits from TVA, and Memphis water.



Our "Magic Water" display drew hundreds of people to the booth where they also got to see what one water bottle a day for a year looks like in a landfill. MLGW employees encouraged visitors to recycle their empty bottles and/or refill them from the tap.



The highlight of the booth was the basketball game where visitors who scored a goal won a flourescent light bulb.
