Cinnamon Girl

Cinnamon Girl is a red-shouldered hawk who likes to hang out just down the road from MLGW's Substation 82 and the steam plant near T.O. Fuller State Park.

Since these birds do not migrate and live for 20-25 years, our bird-watching substation engineer has gotten to know Cinnamon Girl quite well. He reports that she likes to eat the frogs and turtles that can be found along the road. (Yes, roadkill.)
