MLGW is donating 300 fans to the Aging Commission of the Mid-South. Employees will deliver the fans at 9 a.m. and the Aging Commission will distribute the fans to elderly and disabled MLGW customers throughout the day.
MLGW recommends using fans to help circulate the air in your home. The air circulated by fans can help you feel up to five degrees cooler than the actual temperature. A complete list of energy saving tips along with Home e-Valuation, a computerized assessment of household utility usage completed by homeowners is available at www.mlgw.com.
Along with the fans, recipients will be given a copy of MLGW’s “Services for our Senior Customers” brochure. The pamphlet contains important information about programs designed specifically for the utility’s senior customers. Anyone can request the brochure by calling MLGW’s Customer Care Center at 544-MLGW.
