Safety in Preparedness Program or SiPP is a new initiative that Memphis Light, Gas and Water launched to help customers be better prepared for severe weather. MLGW has hosted seven SiPP Community Workshops at different senior centers so far.
During the workshops, customers are equipped with information and tools to help them prepare for weather-related emergencies. The attendees also receive a free emergency hand-cranked weather radio, an MLGW energy kit, gas detection cards and more.
